Crisis Response Supervisor, Neptune NJ

POSITION SUMMARY: The Crisis Response Supervisor is an integral member of the MRSS Management team. MRSS is a 24/7/365 crisis program for youth and families who respond to calls in Monmouth County to deescalate a crisis and put services in place within the 8-week period a family is enrolled in services. The MRSS Supervisor oversees daily operations and ensures timely completion of administrative tasks for youth, adolescents and their families involved with the program.

Location: Neptune, NJ

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Master's degree with 2 plus year prior experience providing treatment services to children or adolescents and their families.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master of Social Work Degree and licensed LSW,
  • plus 3 years prior experience providing treatment services to children or adolescents and their families. Experience with DDD and substance abuse populations preferred.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Position requires sitting and performing repetitive movement while using the computer during a portion of the day.
  • Computer literate. Proficiency with MS Office.
  • The hours for this position are some weekday hours but evenings and weekends are required.
  • This position requires assisting Program Director and Program Coordinator with "on-call" supervision and community response to calls.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

In addition to performing all of the responsibilities of the Mobile Response worker, the Mobile Crisis Supervisor will:

  • attend all the team meetings with either the Director or Coordinator.
  • serve as back-up to the crisis line/ring Central issues
  • assist in the management of specialized issues and ensure that follow-up takes place within in a timely manner.
  • Assist with on-call supervisor rotation
  • Assist with IIC/Provider staffing and issues
  • Review safety plans
  • Oversee billing, Prospective Enrollment (PE), and related activities
  1. The Mobile Response Supervisor will be required to work a combination of day and evening shift hours and weekends. Due to the unpredictable timing of crisis response requests The Mobile Response Supervisor may be expected to stay past the end of their shift to complete an already initiated crisis response.
  2. The Mobile Response Supervisor will assist with Case Management and intra and inter-agency coordination of treatment services for assigned clients.
  3. The Mobile Response Supervisor will provide clinical input as needed to external providers (e.g., EAP's case managers and referral sources).
  4. The Mobile Response Supervisor will provide accurate and timely documentation of treatment provided to assigned clients and their families to assure a quality record and will oversee staff paperwork as well.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Possess a valid driver's license and a point-free driving abstract. Drive agency vehicles and follow agency policies related to vehicle use.
  2. Follow Agency policies regarding the confidentiality and security of clinical records.
  3. Fulfill diverse responsibilities required and/or assigned by supervisor.
  4. Work cooperatively with other staff and supervisors.
  5. Seek and use supervision in a professional fashion.
  6. Serve on professional committees as required by the administration and in keeping with professional standards.
  7. Attend most scheduled staff meetings.
  8. Provide additional related services assigned by supervisor.
  9. Successfully engages and relates effectively with clients, family, community representatives, outside agencies, and other referral sources.
  10. Abide by Agency policies and procedures
