The Behavioral Health Clinician I will provide services which include clinical documentation, crisis intervention and outreach services. The Clinician I will work in collaboration with the consumer and the treatment team to maximize the consumers' quality of life. The Clinician I coordinates all needed client services with other providers and significant others in the community.

Location: Redbank, NJ

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

· BA Degree in Mental health or related field.

· Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in written and spoken English.

· A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· MSW Degree in Mental Health or related field with mental health experience

· Two (2) years' experience working with SMI clients.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include, 

• Provide services to clients and their families. Services include education about their illness and medications; assistance with day-to-day problems; referrals, advocacy; and crisis intervention.
• Complete assessments and/or assist other staff in completing assessments in a timely and comprehensive manner as required by CPC and regulatory agency policies.
• Coordinate with medical providers of CPC clients. And responsible for transporting clients in agency vehicles.
• Report supervisor all client related problems and timely and accurately complete all documentation and paperwork as per Agency policies and procedures.
• Provide linkages to natural community support to access needed services to maximize independent living.
• Participate in overall coordination and planning of services
